Types of Promotions
GlobalKind provides two types of promotions:
- Promotion Graphic with Link to Your Site
- Promotion Graphic with Link to a Corresponding Promotion Page with Other Content Plus Link(s) to Your Site(s)
In both cases, your promotion graphic is a 200×100 pixels graphic that has a link to either your web site or a link to a corresponding GlobalKind Promotion Page.
The advantage of a corresponding promotion page is that it can contain more details about your promotion along with extra images, video, audio, text and/or other link(s).
Both promotions cost the same to run per week although a promotion page might incur additional design fees depending on the scope and the web-ready inputs you provide or that need to be created for you (e.g., audio, graphic, text).
Rates
GlobalKind Promotions are sold in 2-week increments and available in two week, four week, six week and eight week intervals – the cost* of which is:
- Two Weeks – $150 per promotion
- Four Weeks – $275 per promotion
- Six Weeks – $390 per promotion
- Eight Weeks – $490 per promotion

Other Fees
In addition to the weekly promotion rates other fees include:
- Insertion Fee – $25 per promotion
- Design* – $75 per hour (if applicable)
*Design services include one round of AA’s (author alterations)
Parameters
Promotion Graphic Format:
- Promotion Graphic size is 200 pixels wide x 100 pixels high, 72 dpi, jpg or png format, and a maximum file size no larger than 12k
- Customer supplies web-ready graphic otherwise Design fees apply
- Design typically takes 5-10 business days
Promotion Graphic Rotation:
- Promotions are displayed weekly per seven-day cycle which starts the day your promotion is published
- Promotions randomly rotate and cycle every couple seconds in the promotion widget that appears on the Community of Worship Site(s) you selected
- Total number of Promotions are limited and available on a first-ordered first-served basis
Payment and Terms:
- Credit Cards and Paypal Accepted
- Full payment due in advance
- Cancellation Policy includes refund for unused weeks with ten days advance written notice

Ordering your GlobalKind Promotion is a three step process:
- Step 1 – Request a Quote for Your GlobalKind Promotion
- Step 2 – Accept the Quote and Pay Invoice
- Step 3 – Approve Your Promotion

What happens after I submit my request for promotion quote?
Within 24-48 hours after receiving your GlobalKind Promotion request, we will contact you to confirm the scope and fees involved … At that point you are under no obligation for moving forward … After the total fee has been determined and there is agreement with scope, then you will be emailed an invoice which you have five days to pay … Once payment is completed, we start to work on your promotion, email you a proof to approve, then go live after you approve …
Can I change my promotion during the display period?
Yes. You will be responsible for additional time cost for coding and/or design to make the change(s) …
Can promotion graphics be in Flash format?
No – at least not for the 200×100 display widget but yes flash objects can be added to a corresponding Promotion Page …
Does a promotion have to be a contest?
No – promotions come in many forms … Contests are usually the most popular but yes, a wine tasting event, a grand opening, a university symposium can all be enhanced with promotion attributes … Even a CoolTea Limo Race can be an excellent fundraising promotion for local charities, nonprofits, etc. …
Who gets my money?
You pay GlobalKind, and we share promotion revenues with the Communities of Worship who’s web site(s) your GlobalKind Promotion appears on … GlobalKind is owned by The Avanti Group, Inc., and Avanti’s payment gateway and technology is provided by CoolTea.com … CoolTea is also a registered trademark of The Avanti Group, Inc.
Is my promotion fee tax deductible?
Your promotion fee is a marketing expense and can be considered a normal operating expense in the course of conducting and promoting your business … But no, you cannot claim a portion of your promotion fee as a non-profit 501c3 tax deduction to a Community of Worship … Your promotion provides you benefits and typically donations to nonprofit 501c3 organizations, like Churches, are just that – donations sans benefits … You do get the double benefit of knowing you helped provide financial support for Communities of Worship while enjoying great brand exposure for your business … Note: this is not to be considered advice and we always recommend you check with tax experts and your business advisors whenever it comes to accounting and taxes …
