Type of Ads:
GlobalKind provides two types of ads:
- Ad with Link to Your Site
- Ad with Link to a Corresponding Ad Page with Other Content Plus Link(s) to Your Site(s)
In both cases, your ad is a 200×100 pixels display graphic that has a link to either your web site or a link to a corresponding GlobalKind Ad Page.
The advantage of a corresponding ad page is that it can contain more details about your ad along with extra images, video, audio, text and/or other link(s).
Both ads cost the same to run per month although an ad page might incur additional ad design fees depending on the scope and the web-ready inputs you provide or that need to be created for you (e.g., audio, graphic, text).
Rates:
GlobalKind Ads are sold in 30-day increments and available in one month, three month or six month intervals – the cost* of which is:
- One Month – $100 per ad
- Three Months – $275 per ad
- Six Months – $500 per ad

Other Fees:
In addition to the monthly ad rates other fees include:
- Insertion Fee – $25 per ad
- Ad Design* – $75 per hour (if applicable)
*Ad Design services include one round of AA’s (author alterations)
Parameters:
Ad Format:
- Ad size is 200 pixels wide x 100 pixels high, 72 dpi, jpg or png format, and a maximum file size no larger than 12k
- Customer supplies web-ready ad otherwise Ad Design fees apply
- Ad Design typically takes 5-10 business days
Ad Rotation:
- Ads are displayed per monthly 30-day cycle which starts the day your ad is published
- Ads randomly rotate and cycle every couple seconds in the ad widget that appears on the Community of Worship Site(s) you selected
- Total number of Ads are limited and available on a first-ordered first-served basis
Payment and Terms:
- Credit Cards and Paypal Accepted
- Full payment due in advance
- Cancellation Policy includes refund for unused months with ten days advance written notice

Ordering your GlobalKind Ad is a three step process:
- Step 1 – Request a Quote for Your GlobalKind Ad
- Step 2 – Accept the Quote and Pay Invoice
- Step 3 – Approve Your Ad

Which graphic format is better – png or jpg?
Typically photographic designs are better as jpg with a medium compression circa 60-70% whereas png format is great for designs that are more line-art and type centric … Sometimes you have to try both formats to see which format ultimately gives you the best visual performance at the smallest file size … Also do not forget to “unsharpened” your final design before saving your web-ready ad – this can help bring a bit of snap back to your design, especially if you started with a much larger canvas and saved your ad to the 200×100 format as last step …
What do AA’s mean and how does it work?
Author’s Alterations or AA’s are traditional concepts of working with clients whereby the client (author) can make one round of changes to the first proof, after the second proof any more changes incur additional design time and will incure additional fees … This is why it is important to identify the scope of work upfront and provide as many elements as near-ready as possible … The way it works with GlobalKind Ads is that you tell us what you want, we produce your ad proof and present it to you, and you can make one round of changes to that proof … After the second proof any other changes incur additional design time for the extra AA’s …
What happens after I submit my request for ad quote?
Within 24-48 hours after receiving your GlobalKind Ad request, we will contact you to confirm the scope and fees involved … At that point you are under no obligation for moving forward … After the total fee has been determined and there is agreement with scope, then you will be emailed an invoice which you have five days to pay … Once payment is completed, we start to work on your ad, email you a proof to approve, then go live after you approve your ad …
Can I change my ad during the ad display period?
Yes. You will be responsible for additional time cost for coding and/or design to make the change(s) …
Can ads be in Flash format?
No – at least not for the 200×100 display block but yes flash objects can be added to a corresponding Ad Page …
Who gets my money?
You pay GlobalKind, and we share Ad revenues with the Communities of Worship who’s web site your GlobalKind Ad appears on … GlobalKind is owned by The Avanti Group, Inc., and Avanti’s payment gateway and technology is provided by CoolTea.com … CoolTea is also a registered trademark of The Avanti Group, Inc.
Is my ad tax deductible?
Your ad is a marketing expense and can be considered a normal operating expense in the course of conducting and promoting your business … But no, you cannot claim a portion of your ad cost as a non-profit 501c3 tax deduction to a Community of Worship … Your ad provides you benefits and typically donations to nonprofit 501c3 organizations, like Churches, are just that – donations sans benefits … You do get the double benefit of knowing you helped provide financial support for Communities of Worship while enjoying great brand exposure for your business … Note: this is not to be considered advice and we always recommend you check with tax experts and your business advisors whenever it comes to accounting and taxes …
